Such a disappoiting experience. The entrance was an absolute maze. My room had a missing item after the first day, like seriously? With the premium I paid, I at least expected a bottle of water. I almost thought about leaving a good review but just couldn't, honestly. 10 Shades of unimpressed.

convenient to walking the town and close to the wall. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Entrance to building not appealing. Walked up flight of stairs to access the hotel, no lift. Strong smell from firepace located in commom room.

explore lucca's charm with easy access to attractions and parks
I loved being just a few steps from the beautiful Basilica of San Frediano and a less than 5-minute walk to the vibrant Via Fillungo, perfect for exploring local shops and cafes. The staff were friendly and the comfortable atmosphere.

Relais San Lorenzo is well located ,calm surroundings ,friendly and efficient welcome and service, with a good breakfast to set you up for the day . Spacious air conditioned bedroom ,with large comfortable bed ,with modern bathroom facilities.Parking an option - only if you have a samll car ,as you have to navigate through the narrow streets within the city walls. We would certainly return and recommend to make your visit to Lucca even more enjoyable .

The staff was very helpful, the room was beautiful and the location was great. When we arrived we were told we were being upgraded to the suite since it was still available. So we had a whole sitting room and private terrace which were beautiful.

Relais San Lorenzo nailed it! Gorgeous decor throughout, super comfy beds, and the shower pressure was on point. The staff were cute and gave great local tips. Only downside, my street-side room had some noise, but not a dealbreaker at all!

Very nice hotel in the centre of Lucca! Small, but lovely rooms! Please double check the check-in times because the reception is not open the whole day. No lift, so watch your luggage. The hotel is in the second floor of an old Palazzo (means very high walls, so it feels like the third floor) Don't expect a great breakfast buffet, but that's Italy! Alltogether a very nice and recommandable hotel.

The little extras like welcome drink with biscuit, free minibar, tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The ambience in the dining area is really nice and location is excellent.

Wonderful hotel, soft bed, wonderful breakfast. Welcoming staff throughout. Relaxing and stunning room, good bathroom. Brilliant location close to bars and restaurants. Main bar with cold drinks. Great stay, as always...

The hotel provided a free mini-bar in the room (with a can of soda, beer, and water), and provided free cookies and alcohol (cognac?) in the lobby, so that was a nice bonus. The room looked classy and was clean. Also, the staff was generally accommodating - for example, they happily agreed to keep our bags a few hours after we checked out, so that we could do more siteseeing.
The biggest complaint for us was that the shower drain was clogged.

Beautifully styled historical building near attractions.
Finding the entry was frustrating. It's not marked clearly. Our room had no kitchen access, limiting our options. The breakfast situation was disappointing-only a €10 voucher at a nearby cafe with limited choices and was inconveniently timed.

The hotel staff went out of their way to meet our every need. They even stocked our fridge with breakfast items for our early morning departure. The location was great!
The lack of an elevator made carrying the suit cases up three flights of stairs difficult.
